Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day.
Especially around here.
Between the river and the fountains turning green, the nightly bagpipe parades, the swarm of leprechaun top hats, the “remnants” of drunkards staggering out of the bars...the spirit of St. Paddy infuses itself into every corner of Chicago.
It’s like the Emerald City.
But without the munchkins.
And lots of vomit.
About the dye...
Rest assured, it’s non-toxic and perfectly safe. The same stuff is used all over the world by sewer/water reclamation folks to monitor flow rates. Odd fact: it comes out of the canisters bright orange.
