I like leopard. It's my favorite color.
But I try to wear it sparingly as to avoid being labeled a "Leopard Lady."
For years, I resorted to integrating leopard in tasteful ways. Like, neutral items such as shoes and rain boots and shopping bags and toothbrushes. Luggage. Lola's carrier case, of course. And my bathrobe. And that scarf I wear all the time. And my stapler...
...and then, one Sunday afternoon in early March, I found myself looking down the barrel of a washing machine and wondered; How in the Hell did Peg Bundy get in my basement? And why is she doing laundry?
I think I need more polka dots.
