Happy Monday everyone! Here are a few distractions to keep you busy through the week.

The gray hair trend. It’s real, and it’s happening!
This man was body shamed and now thousands of women (including some major celebrities) want to throw him a party. MORE OF THIS PLEASE!
The one Dutch word you need to know.
Don’t you love it when celebrities embrace the F word?
Naught, naughty: McCalls sewing patterns behaving badly.
Meet the young woman who made it on to Forbe’s list of self-made billionaires by doing something helpful for all of us.
Eight of history’s greatest cat ladies.
And great news: we’ll never drink alone again. It’s here! Wine for cats!
I know at least five people who read this post, bought the book, and now owe me a cocktail. Your’e welcome.
Here is something I always wondered; Why do sandwiches come with pickles? Shout out to all the ass-nasty pieces of pickle juice soaked buns I have tossed out over the years. RIP
Dresses made from crayons. Unbelievable! Of course, as soon as I saw all those orange crayons stacked up I needed to youtube this old video from Sesame street.
You can smell the paraffin through the screen!

That crayon-making film is one of my favorite things of all time.

I bought the book, too. How funny!

I bought the book after reading your post. You live ‘close-ish’ to me. I’ll buy you a drink but it has to be after my daughter’s wedding and my mother’s 80th birthday. I can’t drink due to medications, but I’m happy to supply you. After all, someone needs to be the “uninebriated” one. I never say “sober” because I’ve been known to garner looks when I’m having a great time.

That gray hair trend may be real and happening right now, but not on this gal. Miss Clairol is my best friend, and shall remain that way for the near future.
Those crayon dresses are just too wild to believe. A lot of thought and effort went into the design and construction of those things. They were so pretty and summer-y, but a sunny day would be my last choice to wear a dress made of a substance that could melt. Keep ’em in the A/C, people!

Yikes – I bought the book too. The wait at the library was too long.
I laughed till I cried at the McCalls sewing patterns – I think my mom still has some of these.
Thanks
Lisa
Love the gray hair! When I colored mine it’s original brown, I looked like everyone else. I have gotten a lot more compliments on my silver hair then I ever got with brown, even from beauticians. I say quit drinking the koolaid society and the cosmetics industry is selling you and be yourself!
