My spring cleaning routine just got a whole lot more glamorous. |
Disclaimer: I did not make this.
Aunt Nancy found it in her mother’s closet with a bunch of other treasures and gave it to me. Apparently it came from craft fair in a Methodist church in central Illinois.
Note to self: Start hanging out with more Methodists.
It is a duster. Or, rather, it is a garden glove with fingernails and a dozen pink pom-poms stitched to the palm. You wear it as you run your fingers along dusty stuff. And if I recall, acrylic yarn gets up all kinds of static and attracts dust like nothing else. So really, gold sequin trim aside, this is just plain practical. Just in time too. I’m planning on doing a major Spring cleaning next weekend — between this and the feather boa on a stick, I am going to feel just like Zsa Zsa Gabor!
