The bad news is it’s another Monday in January and it’s currently -8° F. This morning I snapped an icicle out of my nostril. I think that’s what they call a snotsicle. It was impressive.
The good news is, it’s the last Monday in January and underneath the tundra gear I am wearing a rhinestone flamingo. I figure, if Katniss can survive the Hunger Games with the help of a hidden mocking jay, I can survive January with a flamingo.
Also, this is a picture of my nephew Luke dressed as bear in the cake mix aisle.

Five dollars says his next new word is “funfetti.”
I mean, look how happy he is in all that cake. We are soooo related.
And….
This. This is a picture of Meryl Streep hanging with 50 Cent. Or Fiddy Cent. Is his last name Cent? I’m not really sure. And I think that guy in the back plays basketball or something. Again, I don’t know. But I do know this made me smile almost as much as that time Nancy Regan sat on Mr. T.
Happy Monday.

Sometimes, like when I have had a Monday or some other such I catch up with your posts and I just feel better. You talk good. Really good. I thank you, Aunt Peaches. I thank you a lot.

Very jelly of your rhinestone flamingo!! And please, the next time you talk to Mother Nature, tell her to send some snotcicles to LA… we desperately need them!!

And he’s got the Blue Bell going on in the basket to go with the cake! No wonder he’s happy. I think we all should go to their house for dessert.

Just hearing little children laugh make me laugh! And it looks like he is about to giggle…which made me smile. thanks for brightening my day. Of course, seeing him among all that uncooked cake batter did it too!!! I just LOVE licking the bowl, despite everyone saying you should not eat uncooked eggs…that is always the best part of making cookies, cakes, etc. is licking the spoons, bowls.
