I’d bet my next paycheck that he is gay, Bless his heart – if he and his wife are happy with the arraignment , more power to them.
This is my 2nd favorite reality TV after the Great British Sewing Bee. I love that they are competing without being backstabbing a-holes . And I learn something with every show.
I felt the same way you did. I set out not to like it and giggled my way all the way threw it. 🙂 So different (and if he were my husband or father, I would probably be looking for a good hit man). But still very entertaining.
I’m a fan. It’s a weird family dynamic but it works for them, so who am I to judge? Very entertaining. I hope reality TV doesn’t mess them up like everyone else.
I only watched a part of one of the Chrisley shows & I’m sorry but I did judge the dad to be a tyrant. The son wanted to go to a party or something & his dad didn’t want him to so he put a boot on the kids car & one of those steering wheel locks on it. It was obvious the kids were spoiled and over indulged & it looks like the dad is trying to get a fist hold on them now in their teen years. The dad won the battle but I think his kid hates him – really hates him. The dad seems to be a tyrant & kind of a jerk. If he busted out with a Buuwhahahahaha and rubbed his hands together after one of his southern drawl proclamations it wouldn’t surprise me. So I’m just guessing you liked it cuz it’s such a train wreck you can’t tear your eyes away? Sort of a Kardashian version of Honey Boo Boo? If you like it, I might have to try to watch it again but I’m not making any promises 😀 😀 😀
I like it. It’s weird, flamboyant, and unapologetic. I think their characters run much deeper than the Kardashians or the Honey BooBoos. You are right he is a tyrant, but he also spoils his children –heavy on gifts and discipline — extreme push and pulls, which makes for very good television!
Girl, imma head on down to the Vans Store in Santa Monica tomorrow and see if I can’t find ’em for ya. If the Euro-tuorists haven’t grabbed them all up yet I’ll let you know!
Girl, I don’t want you to go to any bother, you are too sweet! Butttttttt if, and only IF, you should come across them in your shopping adventures, I will happily pay for them + shipping. HAPPILY. I need those cats on my feets!
Yeah — the Chrisleys are crazy. Don’t you hang out in Atlanta a decent amount? You should go and visit them. For real. Just drop by the house to eat tater-tots and stuff. They’d be down with that.
I love your tip for the Revlon Balm Stain – need to see if I can get it here in Blighty. I am useless at wearing lipstick or lip gloss (unless the “smeared all over your face” look is in fashion?) but have used the Body Shop’s lip and cheek stain on my lips.
I heard about Chrisley Knows Best a couple of days ago…again, need to check if it’s available in the United Kingdom of Great Britain!
BTW – ever seen “It’s Always Sunny in Philidelphia”?
YES. That is a great show, although I lost track after a few episodes and never went back to start again. It’s on my list. Very funny cast.
And I love body shop lip and cheek stain — one of the few items of makeup I have purchased more than once. If we have similar taste I suspect you will like this one too.
Chrisley knows best is also on Youtube (at least for now) — hopefully everyone can get it and it doesn’t block Ip addresses by country ( I had this problem with watching Downton — grrr!)
Okay, this guy is so gay. My theory is that since he is living in the deep, Christian south, and he wanted to control others and look somewhat conventional, he figured he had to get married and have children. Takes all kinds.
I love the look of that new lip gloss. Going to try this!

I have never heard of the Great British Sewing Bee but I’m thoroughly intrigued! Off to google!
