wow, you’ve outdone yourself with this list of ‘must reads’, so now I’m going to be late out the door this morning, but at least I’ve had more than my share of laughs for the day!
Sorry to make you late Jeno!
Oh.Mah.Gawd. Bill and Kathy. Bill-and-Kathy! Never thought of them in terms of these sorts of nicknames. This completely changes up my mental image of them. Bill and Kathy would be the neighbors down the street with impeccable taste, a white picket fence, and a Golden lab named ButterBrickle, but secretly, they’re the future king and queen of England. Love it,love it,love it.
And I am greatly amused by a strange commonality between the 70’s-era Brooklyn homes and DIY trends for 2015. Anyone else see it? If you put these two ideas together on a Venn Diagram, the overlap would be Bargello. If I may paraphrase, “Many things old are new again.” (And I want to bring back Bargello. It could be HUGE.)
Yes –I totally see the crossover from 70s Brooklyn. It’s so happening. And I LURVE IT!! 🙂
