Happy Easter to all!
I’m off to join some friends for church and brunch, followed by dinner with more. I have been promised tremendous amounts of ham. And chocolate. The good news is Lola had fun discovering her Easter basket this morning. Not as much fun as she had finding it yesterday.
Hope everyone is enjoying themselves at home, eating their weight in chocolate bunnies. If you are cruising the interwebs for a fun project, or maybe filing away ideas for next Easter, these nine will keep you busy!

What goes in Lola’s Easter basket? and what is a catnip egg ?- I feel like such a bad cat parent, our boy just got a sprig of catnip.

Don’t feel bad, Lola is high maintenance and it’s my fault. Her basket is mostly a mix of her favorite “treat” food she gets to enjoy a couple times a week (she has thyroid issues and eats A LOT). Also a couple of toys, a couple of hairbrushes (not special for cats — just dollar store hair brushes), and some plastic eggs I stuff with dried catnip. They make for great toys because they come with a couple of holes drilled on the top and bottom and the smell gets her every time. The non-spherical shape makes them wobble a bit when she hits them, so that is way more fun than a regular ball. I usually dab some glue in the rim to make sure she doesn’t pry them open, but she got to them before the glue dried this time. My mistake for not hiding the basket behind closed doors. Lessons….

Aren’t they? I’m mad I didn’t see them sooner. Next year for sure!
