This. This man.
This man dances with racoons.
Honestly. How does anyone get that cool? I mean, cool enough to pull off a Santa beard AND a pet racoon?
I have been known to dance to Aretha Franklin music on my porch, but never with a pet raccoon. I didn’t even know that was a thing. The only guy I ever heard of having a pet raccoon also kept a pet skunk and made beef jerky in a garbage can, so you know he wasn’t quite right. But this man. This man knows how to live.
Let’s dance!
That book Rascal, about the pet raccoon was one of my favorites of all time. I like this man’s moves!
Didn’t you say you always wanted to hug a panda? You know — Pandas are actually close relatives of racoons (more so than bears anyway). This raccoon hugger might be like hugging a baby panda. Something to think about!
That looks like fun! You and Lola could dance too! Have you seen the book Dancing with Cats? My next kittens will walk on a ferret leash and I will dance with them. MB
Two people have given me copies of that book — one of my favorites! Lola dances but her singing takes the spotlight. You kittens sound very agreeable.

In his little raccoon mind, he is shaking his head and thinking, “White people.”
Ha!!!!
Ha! Awesome 🙂
I know Santa beard having, bib overall wearing rednecks. I know porch dancing to Aretha. I even know people with pet raccoons. I have *never* seen all these things combined until now. My life is complete.
I with you, but I fear mine will not be complete until I dance with a racoon!
Peaches, you never fail to make me smile.
Wow, on many levels. But especially to how fat that raccoon is! That’s amazing.
That’s pretty rad.. I’ve danced with an infant and a miniature dachshund (not at the same time), but never a raccoon. My question: where is he going at the end, where he tries to hike the fence? Maybe I’m just not well-versed in hillbilly ballroom etiquette.
