There is a spanking new magazine in town, and, I was lucky enough to be featured inside. Wahoo!

Room to Create is jam packed with pictures of the studio/office/project spaces of some of the coolest bloggers and creative entrepreuneurs on the web today. It’s hard to look at the photos and not feel inspired to create something amazing. Even I hardly recognize myself in this spread.
As this was the first issue, I didn’t know what it was going to look like, but, now I have it in hand and…wow. Just, wow. I have heard from folks who are seeing it on stands at Target and grocery stores, as well as their local craft stores. If you see it, grab it.

It’s been seven months since these photos were taken, and I feel like there is more to show, so stay tuned for an update later this week!

(Update: In a later post, the folks at Michael’s asked for a mini tour of my project room, so check it out below, in all its unedited splendor. Flamingos, dinosaurs, and lackluster high school history reports included. Get excited, people!)

Life is good. Congrats on this publication.
I got my copy last week and I love it! Your space looks so amazing and fun – who wouldn’t want to create in there? Also, a lot of other great spaces and ideas. Very inspiring so pick one up. (I got my copy at Hobby Lobby)
I’ve never seen so many fantastic, creative ideas as well as setting up such beautiful, functional craft spaces!!! This will be my ‘bible’ of crafting ideas for a long time to come. I would like to subscribe to this magazine….please tell me how!
Thank you for this wonderful magazine!
I LOVE this magazine! Do you know if it is going to be a monthly publication? Or of they have a website or something?
Seasonal – I know they are looking to recruit more folks, but I don’t know a publication date yet. I’ll keep you posted if I hear something!
Great magazine! I loved the all the features. You have a lovely space. Thanks for sharing!
Susie
Can you help me out. I am on the hunt for this magazine. I live in Houston and the local B&N doesn’t carry it. Can you please provided the publisher’s name, contact number/email, and web site, so I can reach out to them directly? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry Holly, I asked that same question myself. It’s Harris publishing. This is their website — phone #s at the top; http://www.harrispublishing.com. I don’t think a list of stock retailers exists, but you can call for more info and check in your area. Because this is a first edition the info is a little spotty. I have heard at least 10 people tell me they found theirs at Target, if that is helpful.
I picked up the magazine at my ocal K-Mart.
First, this is nothing against you (or others in the magazine) or the magazine itself.
I was disapointed in the way they showed the rooms. You never got an overall feel for the room. In fact, at least one room only showed pictures of nothing but little spots of the room.
I am in the middle (but starting over) of creating my first craft room and I really wanted to see how the rooms flowed and were set up.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the magazine and will keep getting it. And I got some great ideas. Just wished they would have shown the whole room.
Congratulations!!
Beth
Standard size residential rooms are rarely large and/or narrow enough to allow you to photograph more than one wall or corner at a time, even with a wide angle lens. Nature of the beast.
Congratulations
Where can I purchase this magazine?
It was at Target and most major craft stores in Spring 2015…not sure anymore.
Busybree.etsy.com has one copy left in her etsy shop for $9.95 as of 11/12/15. Ready. Set. GO!!!
